Steven Seagal meets Justin Lee Collins

I haven't seen many Steven Seagal films sufficiently enough to be able to recognise him. I just watched a television program by Justin Lee Collins who met with Seagal in Vancouver and Arizona. It turns out that Seagal has 7 children, ranging in age from a year old to 35 years; he seems to be a proud father.

Seagal's talents range from being a martial arts expert, having spent many years in Japan learning his aikido, to being a movie actor, someone who takes an active interest in law enforcement in real life, to a guitar-playing recording artist who performs live gigs.

Collins was invited to Seagal's new home in Arizona. Stunning location and view! The quiet-spoken Seagal showed Collins a prized possession - an antique Samurai Sword as well as some other, more modern weaponry.

It was a "Through the Keyhole" moment for me - I don't suppose for a moment that I'll ever visit Seagal, so it was quite an eye-opener seeing a little bit of his private life, his home and family.

My favorite Moorcroft vases.

In the last few years I discovered some beautiful vases which were designed and created by the Moorcrofts - father and son, Walter and William Moorcroft. Until I touched one of them, I believed that they were just decorative vases - but, like many fine objects, it is only when you feel their weight and their quality that you can truly fall in love with them. Something special, such as a Moorcroft vase, is worth saving up to acquire.
